Install a compatible desktop player from its official source, add your account, and test the playlist and TV guide.
TereaTV can be used on a Windows PC or Mac with a compatible desktop IPTV player. Choose software that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlists and download it only from the publisher's official website or your operating system's app store.
Prepare the computer
- Install current Windows or macOS updates and restart the computer.
- Confirm sufficient storage and a stable network connection.
- Keep the TereaTV activation email available without forwarding it to anyone.
- Avoid browser extensions or unknown utilities that ask to "unlock" a playlist.
Set up with Xtream Codes
- Install and open a compatible desktop player from its official source.
- Select Add Account, Xtream Codes, or the closest equivalent.
- Enter TereaTV as the account name, followed by the server URL, username and password exactly as supplied.
- Save and wait for the initial synchronization to finish before opening categories.
- Test one live item, one movie or series item, and the EPG.
Set up with an M3U playlist
- Choose Add Playlist or Open Network Playlist.
- Paste the complete M3U URL from your activation email. Do not edit the username, password or URL parameters.
- Add the supplied EPG URL separately when the player provides an EPG or XMLTV field.
- Save the profile privately and refresh the library.
Improve playback on a computer
- Use Ethernet when possible and pause large cloud backups or downloads.
- Close unnecessary browser tabs and high-usage applications.
- Try the player's hardware acceleration setting if video is choppy; return it to the previous setting if performance becomes worse.
- Allow the player through the local firewall only when Windows or macOS displays a legitimate prompt for the installed app.
If login or loading fails
Check the credentials character by character, verify the account is active, and try a single refresh. Do not repeatedly reinstall before checking the TereaTV troubleshooting decision tree. For incorrect guide times, use the EPG and time-zone guide.
Return to the TereaTV installation center, compare current options on the official pricing page, or contact TereaTV support with the operating system, player name and exact error message.
